Role Summary

As a Quality Inspector
, you will be part of the Manufacturing Quality inspection team, responsible for ensuring vehicles and automotive parts meet required quality standards and specifications.

The Quality Inspector will inspect and validate parts, document deviations, support the resolution of quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement activity across manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Inspect outputs across manufacturing areas to ensure they match planned requirements.
  • Document any deviations from standard within the quality management system.
  • Collaborate with production teams and support functions to help resolve quality issues.
  • Use precision measuring tools and testing equipment to check dimensions, tolerances, and performance.
  • Support daily quality meetings.
  • Input and maintain data within systems and tools that support Quality Management processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving efficiency.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve inspection processes and overall product quality.
  • Engage in regular training and development to remain current with inspection techniques and industry advancements.
Requirements of the Role
  • Previous experience within a quality, manufacturing, or process-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of working to process instructions.
  • Good understanding of quality standards and how to apply them.
  • Ability to work well both as part of a team and autonomously when required.

This role is deemed inside of IR35. The Umbrella Pay Rate offered is inclusive of the Assignment pay rate, holiday pay and Apex Recruitment’s contribution towards Employer Costs.
