G&P Quality Management are recruiting for a Manufacturing Quality Inspector to support a prestigious automotive OEM based in Woking, Surrey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a world-class manufacturing environment, ensuring the highest levels of quality across components used in the production of high-performance sports cars and supercars.

The Role

Working within the Manufacturing Quality Parts Inspection team, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and validating automotive parts to ensure they meet strict OEM quality standards before entering the production process.

You'll work closely with Supplier Quality, Engineering, Production, and Logistics teams to identify defects, resolve quality concerns, and help maintain exceptional manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspections in line with established inspection plans and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and report defects or non-conforming parts.
  • Support investigations and corrective actions to resolve quality concerns.
  • Segregate and control non-conforming material through to final disposition.
  • Work closely with Logistics to maintain accurate stock and material transactions within SAP.
  • Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and component quality.
  • Support daily quality meetings and communicate inspection findings.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records using SAP, MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve manufacturing quality.
  • Support ongoing development of inspection methods and quality processes.
About You
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, quality inspection, or process-driven environment.
  • A good understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Experience working from process instructions and quality documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools is advantageous.
  • Previous automotive manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
