* On-site gym and wellbeing activities.## Introduction This is a senior technical role focused on dimensional measurement, vision-based metrology systems and customer application support. You will act as a key technical resource for customers, sales teams, and internal product development, providing expertise across measurement applications, system setup, calibration, and product development.## Responsibilities
* Provide expert support on dimensional measurement and vision-based metrology.
* Set up, test and calibrate optical and vision measurement systems.
* Advise customers on measurement methods, tolerances, and accuracy.
* Support demonstrations, training, and technical problem-solving.
* Work with design teams to support new product development.
* Mentor less experienced engineers within the metrology team.
* Travel to customer sites in the UK and occasionally overseas.## Requirements
* At least five years’ experience in metrology or dimensional inspection.
* Strong understanding of measurement principles, tolerances, and accuracy.
* Experience with optical, vision-based, or non-contact measurement systems.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and advise on measurement methods.
* Practical experience setting up or calibrating measurement equipment.
* Strong customer-facing communication and technical problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to work primarily on-site near Woking and travel when required.##
