Quality Technician
Woking
£28,000 per annum
Overview:We are looking for a Quality Technician to support quality standards across a growing business. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to inspect products, investigate quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out first-off, in-process, final and incoming inspections.
- Conduct factory inspections to identify and prevent quality issues.
- Use verniers, micrometres, gauges and visual inspection techniques.
- Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
- Work with production teams to reduce defects and improve quality.
- Support customer and supplier quality investigations.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and ERP documentation.
- Support new product introduction, internal audits and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Promote right-first-time working and continuous improvements.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, production, assembly, maintenance, warehousing or a similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Methodical approach and ability to follow quality procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; ERP and inspection equipment experience is advantageous.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
