Parts Advisor Basildon | £30,000 DOE | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-5:00pm Are you a knowledgeable Parts Advisor with a passion for customer service and sales? Looking to join a growing business where your experience and product knowledge will be valued?
We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our client's busy and expanding team in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in commercial vehicle parts, automotive parts, or the motor factor sector who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships. What You'll Be Doing
• Advising customers on parts and product solutions via phone and email
• Identifying and sourcing the correct parts quickly and accurately
• Processing orders, quotations, returns, warranties, and customer enquiries
• Building relationships with customers and maximising sales opportunities
• Upselling complementary products and promoting current stock lines
• Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth order fulfilment
• Assisting with stock enquiries and inventory management
• Supporting the wider sales function with administration and customer support
• Developing your technical and product knowledge through ongoing training What We're Looking For
• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Sales Advisor, Motor Factor Sales Advisor, or similar
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle, automotive, or aftermarket parts
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
• A team player with a positive attitude and commercial awareness What's On Offer
• Salary from £30,000 per annum
• Monday-Friday working hours - no weekends
