Salary: £43,177.30 per annum + £3k per annum RRA

Contract:

Full Time, Permanent, 39 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at HMP Coldingley, a category C adult male prison. You will work Monday to Friday as part of a supportive and driven family, contributing to a safe and nurturing environment that supports rehabilitation.

As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators to maintain electrical systems across the facility. You will be responsible for installing, testing, inspecting and maintaining electrical equipment and circuits in accordance with BS 7671 and other regulatory standards.

• Two years’ experience in an electrician role
• Experience on commercial or industrial electrical systems
• Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations
• Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• 18th Edition of BS 7671
• Certificate in BS 7671
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
