We are currently recruiting for a Picker & Packer to join a busy and growing distribution company in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, checked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. The products are lightweight cosmetic items, making this a physically active but light-duty role

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately picking products using customer order sheets and pick lists
  • Packing orders to a high standard, ensuring products are secure and ready for dispatch
  • Performing quality checks on products and completed orders before shipment
  • Using in-house computer systems to process orders, update stock information, and assist with warehouse operations
  • Labelling and preparing parcels for delivery
  • Maintaining stock accuracy and reporting any discrepancies
  • Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised
  • Working efficiently to meet daily targets while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Following company health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience within a warehouse, picking, packing, or distribution environment would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance.
Hours

This position consists of 7.5-hour day shifts Monday to Friday, however start times can vary depending on business requirements. Therefore, applicants must be flexible with working hours and willing to adapt to different start times when required.

Pay

£12.71 per hour paid on a weekly basis
