TPF Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well‑established and forward‑thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Wokingham with their search for an Accounts Semi‑Senior or Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

Whether you're an experienced Semi‑Senior working towards your professional qualifications or an established Accounts Senior, you'll join a collaborative team where you'll work closely with a varied portfolio of clients, gain exposure to interesting assignments, and receive ongoing support for your professional development.
Role- Prepare statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Produce corporation tax returns, VAT returns and, where required, personal tax returns.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting software queries.
- Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients' businesses.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure assignments are delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
- Keep technical knowledge up to date through ongoing training and professional development.
- Current or recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
- ACA or ACCA qualification, or be actively studying towards either qualification (qualified by experience candidates will also be considered).
- Experience preparing accounts for a range of business entities.
- Good working knowledge of accounting software, with cloud accounting experience beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive and personable approach, with the confidence to build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Exposure to payroll or company secretarial work would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Salary of approximately £30,000 - £45,000, depending on experience and qualification level.
- Study support for ACA or ACCA where applicable.
