Overview

Our consultancy client are looking for someone with expertise in energy/power systems with a strong background in data analysis to support business decisions and drive improvement in their clients operations. You will develop and maintain data models, reports and dashboards that provide insights into power system performance and business operations and analyse power system operations and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.

Responsibilities
  • Work with cross functional teams to gather and document business requirements related to power systems and conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis to support the decision making processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of power systems and monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations and compliance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in evaluation and selection of power system technologies and solutions and prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Be on site in Wokingham or Warwick 2 days a week and will be inside IR35.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in energy/power systems with a strong background in data analysis.
  • Experience developing and maintaining data models, reports and dashboards that provide insights into power system performance and business operations.
  • Ability to analyse power system operations and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements related to power systems, conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Experience monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact on operations and compliance.
  • Ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
