We are seeking qualified secondary teachers or experienced tutors to provide one-to-one tuition in Maths, English or Science for students in and around Berkshire who are currently out of mainstream education.
This role suits teachers looking for a part-time, flexible alternative to mainstream secondary teaching, while continuing to be paid at classroom teacher-equivalent rates. Work is delivered on an individual basis, supporting students with SEMH and re‑engagement needs.
Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Role Overview- Part‑time, flexible one‑to‑one tuition for KS3/KS4 students
- Subjects:
Maths, English or Science - Students may present with SEMH needs, anxiety, or school refusal
- Off‑site tuition delivered locally
- Supported by and reporting to our SENDCo xlqdzyr
- Qualified Teacher Status preferred
- Ability to teach at least one of the listed subjects
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable)
- Ability to travel locally
- SEMH or alternative provision experience is advantageous
