About the SchoolA highly regarded specialist SEN school in Wokingham is seeking a dedicated SEN Science Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. This role is ideal for a teacher who brings calm, warmth, enthusiasm, and adaptability to the classroom and is committed to inclusive, therapeutic education.
You will be teaching Science to pupils aged 3-19
, many of whom have Autism, ADHD, trauma-related needs, anxiety, and challenging behaviour.

SEN Science Teacher - Location: Wokingham
- Salary: Competitive (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
- Start Date: ASAP or September
- Age Range: 3-19
- Setting: SEN / SEMH Specialist School
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons tailored to individual needs
- Create a calm, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and personalised resources
- Support students' emotional regulation and sense of security
- Work collaboratively with SEN staff, therapists, and support teams
- A qualified Science Teacher
- Calm, caring, and resilient with a positive attitude
- Passionate about SEN and inclusive education
- Willing to fully engage in whole-school life
