24.75 hours per week – Term time only plus INSET days (flexible working pattern to be agreed).

Woodley & Farley Hill. Additional hours may be available on a supply casual basis alongside this contract.

An opportunity has arisen within our PE and Outdoor Learning team for a Teacher Assistant to work collaboratively with the PE and class teams to support our pupils to engage in outstanding PE and outdoor learning.

• Support delivery of PE lessons
• Run small group activities and lunchtime clubs
• Organise and lead offsite sporting and outdoor learning opportunities
• Assist with setting up and putting away large trampoline and other PE equipment
• Work collaboratively with PE and class teams
• Use initiative and maintain a positive approach to supporting pupils to learn
• Ensure physical demands of job are met

• Previous experience working with pupils with special needs
• Experience of PE, sports or outdoor learning
• Qualifications in these areas desirable
• Positive, caring and flexible attitude
• Eligibility to work in the UK
