This is a part-time position, although candidates with experience of leading the Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) and/or Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), or coordinating an Early Career Teacher (ECT) programme, are particularly encouraged to apply. These additional responsibilities could increase the role to full-time.

As Head of Religious Studies, you will:
- Lead and develop the Religious Studies department.
- Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Line manage members of the department.
- Act as a Form Tutor, supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
- Inspire a love of learning through engaging, high-quality teaching.
Religious Studies is a valued and successful subject at Luckley:
- Key Stage 3:
All pupils study RS as a compulsory subject. - GCSE: A popular option following the AQA Specification A (Christianity and Islam).
- A Level: Students study the Edexcel course, including Philosophy of Religion, Ethics and Christianity.
We are looking for an inspirational classroom practitioner who:
- Has experience teaching Religious Studies to A Level.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional teaching and learning.
- Can provide strong leadership and vision for the department.
