EHCP Assistant - Wokingham Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting children and young people with additional needs? A specialist SEN school in Wokingham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate EHCP Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers. As an EHCP Assistant , you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to students' individual EHCP outcomes and needs. Help students develop confidence, independence, communication, and active participation in learning. Support the implementation of individual learning, behaviour, and wellbeing strategies. Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, engagement, and development. We're looking for an EHCP Assistant who is:
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people. A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working within SEN. Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, education, therapy, or a related field. Able to build strong, positive relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues. Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn about individual student needs and EHCP provision.
