EHCP Assistant - Wokingham
Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting children and young people with additional needs?
A specialist SEN school in Wokingham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate EHCP Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers.
As an EHCP Assistant, you will:- Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to students' individual EHCP outcomes and needs.
- Help students develop confidence, independence, communication, and active participation in learning.
- Support the implementation of individual learning, behaviour, and wellbeing strategies.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, engagement, and development.
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
- A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working within SEN.
- Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, education, therapy, or a related field.
- Able to build strong, positive relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues.
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn about individual student needs and EHCP provision.

ASAP - Pay: £93-£110 per day
- Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm - Contract:
Full-time
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
