Together with Blackburn College, we are creating one of the strongest apprenticeship and technical education offers in the region. As we continue to invest in our facilities, expertise and apprenticeship provision, we are looking for a motivated Skills Development Coach to join our Engineering team based at the Further gate Business Park, Harwood Street, Blackburn. About the Role We have the opportunity for two Skills Development Coaches with a specialism in mechatronics to join our team to manage a caseload of Engineering Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey, from onboarding through to End Point Assessment (EPA).

You will provide expert guidance, coaching, assessment and support, helping apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to succeed in their careers while building strong relationships with employers across the region. This is a rewarding opportunity for an engineering professional who is passionate about mentoring others and making a real difference to learners' futures. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who combines industry expertise with a commitment to learner success.

You will need to have:
Level 2 Qualification in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT Level 3 Engineering Qualification in a relevant subject area Knowledge of theory and practical skills in engineering equipment, machinery and materials Strong communication, planning and organisational skills. Relevant industry experience in mechatronics (mechanical and/or electrical). The ability to motivate, support and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds. A learner-focused approach with a commitment to delivering an exceptional apprenticeship experience.
