Status: Full Time | Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Winnersh, RG41 (Hybrid) or Germany/Poland (Remote)
Reporting to: Head of Group Finance Shared Services
What You’ll Be DoingOur finance function is evolving as we modernise systems, standardise global processes, and tighten controls to build a world-class operation. We are looking for an experienced Finance Project Manager in Finance System Implementation to bridge business requirements and external technical partners. You will act as the quality-assurance lead to ensure our new systems, specifically Medius and Dynamics 365, are fit for purpose, audit-proof, and seamlessly integrated.
Scopeof Work
- Medius Implementation: Leading the rollout for the DACH region and two UK entities.
- D365 Optimisation: Implementing robust Dunning and Collections processes.
- Customer Initiatives: Delivering the onboarding cash scheme for the 'Powerforce' project.
- Transformation Support: Providing finance leadership across various ad-hoc organisational initiatives.
- Consultant Management: Act as the primary finance counterpart to external partners. Review, challenge, and sign off on configuration and solution designs.
- Technical Oversight: Support OCR training and configuration; ensure SOPs are compliant with German local GAAP.
- Testing & Cutover: Own the finance-side UAT and be the final authority on go-live readiness and defect resolution.
- Training & Hypercare: Enable German commercial teams on new workflows and lead daily support forums during the critical May/June hypercare period.
- Governance: Ensure every system design supports internal controls and maintains a clear audit trail.
- You are a qualified accountant who thrives in the “grey area” of system implementations and can converse effectively with IT vendors and Finance Directors.
- Proven experience leading finance transformation with Medius and Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, GL, and cash processes.
- Implementation track record and experience leading dunning or collections process rollouts and signing off on complex testing deliverables.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to escalate risks early and manage stakeholders across IT, Finance, and external vendors.
