Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Winnersh

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Security Project Manager to join our global security team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the delivery of impactful cyber security initiatives that align with strategic business goals.

You’ll manage multiple work streams, guide cross‑functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. With a strong background in security or technology programmes, you’ll bring confidence, structure, and energy to a fast‑paced environment. You’ll also play a key role in enhancing our programme delivery practices, contributing to continuous improvement and driving meaningful change.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Winnersh office 3 days a week.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of cyber security projects from end to end—ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are consistently met. You’ll manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes, while aligning project goals with broader business and security objectives. Working closely with the Programme Manager and fellow PMs, you’ll help coordinate across initiatives for seamless delivery.

You’ll also play a key role in programme governance, producing high‑quality executive reporting and dashboards with actionable insights.

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in project design and delivery, with experience managing technology focused projects, and you'll bring confidence and proactive thinking to the role. We're looking for someone who has experience engaging with dispersed, decentralised teams and aligning them to common security goals. You’ll have a strong grasp of governance, risk management, and reporting, and be confident using tools like MS Project, JIRA, or Loop.

Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills are essential, along with the ability to produce high‑quality executive‑level reporting. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to influence at all levels, and bring strong analytical thinking to every challenge. Desirable experience includes working on cyber security or tech transformation programmes, familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methods, and mentoring junior PMs. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a delivery mindset—someone highly organised, calm under pressure, and collaborative, who’s eager to contribute to a purpose‑driven programme with real business impact.

What's

in it for you?
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage
  • Work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year
  • On‑going training and professional development
  • Paid 5 days yearly to volunteer through our Sage Foundation
  • Flexible work patterns and hybrid working
