About the Role

Our client, a leading automotive service and repair business, is looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy centre in Wokingham.

As an MOT Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standards while providing customers with a professional and informative service. You’ll be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections, identifying vehicle defects, and communicating findings clearly and accurately.

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations
• Identify and accurately report vehicle defects and failures
• Explain MOT results and advisory work to customers in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate records and test documentation
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the inspection process
• Support the wider workshop team when required
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards

• A valid MOT Testing Licence
• A full UK driving licence
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and positive approach to supporting colleagues and customers

• £34,000 – £40,000 basic salary
