This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with company ISO standards, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service quality.
This fantastic role is offering a salary of up to £36,000 dependent on experience and will be located in Wokingham. Your working hours will be 9am to 5:30pm with over time available for extra hours worked. Preferably a driver.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Manager role are:
* Manage and supervise a team of 3 responsible for receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
* Schedule and coordinate staff rotas to align with workload demands.
* Coach and develop warehouse team members to meet performance expectations and improve engagement.
* Ensure outbound orders are picked accurately and on time to meet workshop processing deadlines.
* Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health and safety policies.
* Maintain high standards of stock accuracy through perpetual and annual stock takes.
* Ensure stock security and oversee the safe handling of equipment and warehouse plant.
* Develop and implement process improvements to maximise warehouse efficiency.
* Ensure daily checks are completed for all warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, lifting aids).
* Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 standards.
* Coordinate with the Stock Auditor to ensure timely completion of audit tasks and accuracy of records.
* Oversee maintenance tasks (site-related or equipment) through the Maintenance Team.
* Generate and publish warehouse KPIs and operational reports to senior management.
Skills required for the Warehouse Manager role are:
* Experience managing warehouse operations
* Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g. RMS).
* Strong understanding of ISO standards, particularly 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001.
* Proven leadership and team development skills.
* Strong planning and workload management.
* Effective communicator across all levels of an organisation.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive processes.
* Proactive, commercially aware, and solution-oriented.
