Welder Fabricator
Salary: £34,000 to £36,000 per annum, plus overtime (paid at 1.5×) and benefits.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week (Friday early finish). Start & finish times negotiable.
Location:
Commutable from Wokingham, Bracknell, Reading, Finchampstead, Arborfield Green and surrounding areas.
- Welding and fabrication.
- Working from drawings and assembly instructions.
- Assess equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods.
- Working with materials – sheet metal work – steel and aluminium.
- Cut materials using different methods.
- Variation of orders, currently working on a large order for clients in the USA.
- Ensuring all parts are properly fitted, aligned etc.
- Follow safety protocol, including wearing heat‑resistant gloves, protective masks, and appropriate extraction.
- 5+ years experience in fabrication and welding, including TIG and MIG.
- Experience in small and large fabrications.
- Physically fit and willing to get hands dirty.
