This is a 12-month paid internship starting September 2027. The role is head office based requiring a minimum of 2 days a week to be worked from our office in Winnersh.

INTRODUCING THE OPPORTUNITY

The Strategic Accounts team builds long-term partnerships with some of the UK’s largest animal health customers. This internship will provide dedicated support for the Amazon account, helping the team turn customer, sales and market information into clear actions that drive profitable growth. Working day to day with the Amazon Customer Lead, you will support business planning, performance tracking, digital activation and cross-functional projects.

The role offers practical exposure to e-commerce account management and to the commercial decisions behind product availability, online content, advertising, promotions and customer negotiations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Track and summarise Amazon sales, stock, forecast and profitability measures, highlighting changes, risks and opportunities for the Customer Lead.
  • Support the Amazon annual business plan and joint planning activity by maintaining actions, preparing meeting materials and coordinating inputs from internal teams.
  • Work with Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and global colleagues on Amazon priorities and projects.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and internal reporting tools to maintain dashboards and analyse product availability, stock cover, online sales, promotional performance, advertising and third-party seller activity.
  • Help improve Amazon execution by supporting product content optimisation, identifying performance gaps and following agreed actions through to completion.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN

You will gain hands‑on experience of managing a major e-commerce customer, including how sales, inventory, pricing, promotions, advertising and online content influence performance. You will develop practical skills in data analysis, business planning, project coordination and the preparation of clear commercial recommendations. You will also build confidence working across functions and with global colleagues, while learning how a strategic account team balances customer partnership, market dynamics and profitable growth.
