Practice Nurse – Wokingham, Berkshire

2 day per week Locum

Dream Medical are looking for an experienced Practice nurse to work Tuesdays and Thursdays within a friendly GP surgery in Wokingham. The practice is in a central location and easily accessible. The role is flexible and will work around the availability of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Keep up to date with cytology, travel vaccines, child and adult immunisations, and spirometry
• Administer B12 and other injections, smoking cessation and healthy eating/weight loss advice
• Asthma, diabetes reviews and chronic disease management (desirable)

Requirements:

• Registered with NMC with valid pin
• Relevant qualifications & experience
• Updated in place for cytology, travel vaccines etc
