Corporate Security Officer
Help protect the infrastructure that powers Great Britain
Wokingham / Reading, Berkshire | £17.00/hour | 12-hr shifts, 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
The National Energy System Operator (NESO) keeps Great Britain's energy system running safely and reliably. We're looking for a Site Protection Officer to help protect a Critical National Infrastructure site, real responsibility, real purpose, every shift.
What you'll doPatrol high-security areas, monitor CCTV and access control, manage visitors and contractors, respond to incidents, and keep accurate records.
Candidates need to have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years, as successful candidates will be provided SC Clearance.

- A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
Plus: security industry experience, First Aid at Work (or willingness to obtain), full UK manual licence, British/dual nationality with UK passport, 3 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C/4+), and good IT skills. SC Clearance required (supported through the process).
Process:
Eligibility screening → Application & Situational Judgement Test → Sift → Virtual interview → Pre-employment checks (fitness medical, drug/alcohol screening, security vetting).
