Adults Social Worker

My client in Wokingham is looking for a social worker to work within the Adult Social Care team 18+.

The role involves undertaking direct work with customers who have a learning disability, physical disability, long term conditions, young carers and people transitioning into adulthood and older people.

The main aim of the service is to enable people to live safely in the community, maximising their strengths and abilities to live as independently as they can, and supporting carers to continue in their caring role as long as they wish to and are able to.

• Qualified social worker with 3+ years experience of working in adult social care
• Able to be office based a minimum 1 x weekly and complete visits on other days
• Car driver with access to a car
• Experience – Dementia, drug/alcohol related issues, homelessness, hoarders, S42, carers assessment, community work and multidisciplinary work

£250 referral bonus for Social Workers.
