Social Worker - Children's MASH Council

Our client, Wokingham Borough Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub). This is a temporary ongoing post which may last up to 12 months. Paid at £42 per hour. Receive referrals and gather relevant and proportionate information to ensure that informed and evidence-based decisions are made in a timely way, in accordance with statutory guidance and Wokingham Child Protection Procedures. Work in a co-located team of professionals to collaborate, screen and explore all information received in order to form a timely view of the child’s needs and any next steps required to address these needs/safeguard.

Hybrid working – (2-3 days per week in the office) Requirements of the role:
Qualified Social Worker Fully Social Work England registered 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules) Must have experience working in a MASH, Assessment or Child Protection type setting.
