Overview
Catapult is a world‑class program designed to give youth a life‑changing opportunity to discover their potential, take charge of their lives and become empowered to make a difference. The program combines inspiring presentations and exciting activities set in an atmosphere of fun and friendship. It is offered absolutely free to 50 Nova Scotia students entering Grade 10 in September who have been nominated by their school because they have natural leadership qualities and the potential to become strong leaders, but would not normally have access to this type of opportunity due to circumstances such as economics, loss of family, geographic isolation, or racial barriers.
We are currently looking for camp counselors. Camp counselors are volunteer mentors who become role models to the youth in our program. They work both independently and as a team to provide a stable, positive and often life‑changing experience for our youth.

- Monitor youth wakeups and curfews
- Provide general supervision and discipline
- Facilitate free time options

Volunteer position – meals, accommodations and supplies are covered by Catapult and an honorarium of $800 is provided.
