Salary: To be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the range of $88,583 - $104,215 per annum.

- A Master's degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in counselling, clinical practice, mental health, or a related area.
- Current registration or licensure with an appropriate regulatory body, such as the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT), Nova Scotia Regulator of Psychology (NSRP), or Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW), and be in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision, mentorship, and/or training to counselling professionals or students.
- Experience working with student interns or within a clinical training environment is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional, ethical, regulatory, and accreditation requirements related to counselling and mental health services.
- Experience supporting individuals experiencing a range of mental health and wellness concerns, including the ability to respond appropriately to urgent or crisis situations.
- Experience developing or delivering training, workshops, educational programming, or outreach initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, community organizations, and professional partners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to student-centred, inclusive, accessible, and culturally responsive mental health services.

ResponsibilitiesAcadia's School of Counselling is seeking an experienced and collaborative Clinic Director to provide clinic leadership and oversight of counselling at the Acadia Counselling Centre
. The Acadia Counselling Centre supports the health, well-being, and academic success of Acadia students by providing accessible counselling services and connecting students with appropriate resources and supports. The Clinic Director will provide clinical leadership for the Centre while contributing to campus-wide initiatives that promote student wellness, mental health awareness, and student success.
Reporting to the Director, School of Counselling, the Clinic Director is responsible for the overall clinical leadership and delivery of counselling services at the Acadia Counselling Centre. The position provides supervision, training, mentorship, and evaluation for counselling staff and student interns while ensuring that services meet applicable professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
The Clinic Director will also play an important role in developing student counselling initiatives, collaborating with campus partners and post-secondary and sector organizations, and representing the Counselling Centre on committees and working groups focused on student mental health, wellness, education, and success. This is an opportunity for a skilled clinical professional to combine clinical leadership, supervision, program development, training, and campus collaboration in support of Acadia's student community.
