Senior SEO Strategist

BX Studio is a rapidly scaling digital agency working with enterprise brands including Reddit, Headspace, and Verifone, as well as growth‑stage startups. We specialize in web design, development, and SEO/AEO services. In the past year, we've grown from 24 to 70 people, doubled our revenue, and won Webflow’s 2025 Enterprise Partner of the Year award.

We’re looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to lead organic growth strategy for clients ranging from B2B SaaS to B2C non‑profits and a lot of variety in between. This is a client‑facing, strategic role for someone who can confidently run calls, own performance outcomes, and architect both SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies in complex buying environments.

You’ll lead strategy from technical foundations to content ideation, helping B2B tech brands win visibility across search engines and answer engines (AI search, featured snippets, LLM surfaces, etc.).

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and executive communication. You have 5+ years of relevant experience leading SEO and content strategy.

You have experience in client‑facing project management and are able to work effectively with everyone from Marketing Managers to C‑Suite execs.

This is not an entry‑level role. We're looking for someone who can build strategic partnerships with marketing executives and founders. If you prefer to focus on execution and enjoy non‑client‑facing work, you might be a good fit for our SEO Specialist position.

You have a track record of building trusted advisor relationships with clients - not just managing accounts, but genuinely understanding their business, anticipating needs, and translating organizational goals into strategic organic growth initiatives.

You have strong opinions about SEO, AEO, and content but are able to collaborate and pivot your strategic approach as needed. You enjoy working in a collaborative agency environment where you can bounce strategic ideas off of your colleagues and work cross‑functionally with writers, developers, designers, and analysis.

You understand that efficiency comes from repeatable processes and you are a steward of updating and refining standard operating procedures and documentation as you’re executing on client deliverables.

You do not need to be an expert in every aspect of SEO and AEO, but we are looking for a candidate that has deep expertise in at least one of the following:

• Local SEO
• Technical SEO and Analytics
• Programmatic SEO/AEO
• Automation and Leveraging AI to build SEO/AEO Workflows

Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Asana, Slack, GSuite and experience using some AI search tools.

• Background in content writing, editing, copywriting
• Digital strategy background that helps you advise clients beyond SEO/AEO/content
• Prior agency experience
• Experience with B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, healthtech, or enterprise tech
