Position: Windsor Community Outreach Worker Role
Contribute to community well-being as a Schools Plus Community Outreach Worker at Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education in Windsor. Focus on empowering families and connecting them to services.

As the Community Outreach Worker, you will support children, youth, and their families by facilitating access to necessary resources in the Windsor area. Working under the Schools Plus Facilitator, your role will require strong judgment and teamwork to effectively address varied client needs and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and resources to families in need

• Work with educational and community staff to ensure effective service delivery

• Handle confidential information with care

• Coordinate services as part of a family support plan

• Provide transportation and facilitate group sessions

Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year Human Services Diploma

• Relevant experience in community outreach or human services

• Valid N.S. Driver’s License required

• Initiative and the ability to work independently

• Direct knowledge of local services and organizations
