Salary: £30,000-£38,000 per annum (DOE)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established practice in Albrighton that is looking for a talented accountant to join their team. • Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Preparing management accounts and VAT returns.
• Completing corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns.
• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records using software including Xero, Quick Books and Sage.
• Managing and supporting a portfolio of clients.
• Building strong client relationships and providing professional advice.
• Responding to client queries and delivering excellent service.
• Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc accounting assignments.
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
• AAT qualification, ACA/ACCA part-qualified status or equivalent experience.
• Experience preparing accounts for a range of business types.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax requirements.
• Experience using Xero, Quick Books, Sage or similar accounting software.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
