Management Accountant

Salary: £350 per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing organisation on a temporary contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to support a busy finance team during a critical reporting period.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate month-end reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting group reporting requirements.

• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and reclassifications
• Complete month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage employee expenses and corporate card transactions
• Maintain inventory accounting, stock provisions, and product costing processes
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and lease accounting
• Prepare intercompany, management charge, and tax journals
• Calculate and maintain financial provisions, including bad debt and warranty provisions
• Support overhead analysis and variance reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly reporting information to group deadlines

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification
• Strong management accounting and month-end reporting experience
• Proven experience with journals, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions
  
  Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
