Shifts:
Tuesday 1 - 6:30 pm, Wednesday 1 - 6:30 pm and alternate Friday am / pm shifts plus cover (approx 16.5 hours per week)
Reception Rota includes additional shifts; early mornings / late finishes until6:30 pm and Saturday working on a rota basis

Main duties of the jobWe currently have a receptionist vacancy;this is a busy and varied role, dealing with patients both face to face and onthe telephone. Duties will also include general practice administration. Youwill need to ensure that you are organised and be patient focused. Ideally, you will have previously gainedexperience in Care Navigation within a General Practice environment.
The successful candidate will be required to provide excellent customer service skills and provide administration support to the Practice. You must be flexible and able to work additional hours as and when required to cover annual leave and other periods of absence to ensure the efficient and smooth running ofthe Practice.
Previous experience in General Practice is essential. You must have excellent communication skills; the ability to cope with change, be adaptable, accurate and ability to work alone or as part of a team are essential. You must also beIT literate and have gained experience of EMIS web. This post is subjectto a Disclosure Barring Service check.

Person Specification Experience- Previous experience of working in a General Practice or similar environment and experience of Care Navigation.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a Busy front facing General Practice Receptionist environment and Care Navigate effectively
- To be flexible and adaptable to a changing and busy working environment.
- Be able to care navigate patients to other services if required.
- Ensure all information is recorded and filed accurately on clinical system.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet demands of the service
- Demonstrable Experience of IT systems
- Demonstrable Experience of clinical systems
- EMIS Web /
- Docman
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent.
- NVQ 1 to 2 in Customer Care.
- NVQ 1 to 2 in Administration.
