Temporary Staffing Team - Resourcing Assistant

The General (non medical) Temporary Staffing Team has a fantastic opportunity for you to join our welcoming team.
The Temporary Staffing Team provide a crucial administration services to support the wider clinical workforce with their staffing requirements. You will play a vital role in supporting high-quality patient care across our hospitals and community services. This is a fast paced role in a busy environment. You will be a team player who thrives in this setting.
The office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm and 10 am to 4 pm on weekends and Bank Holidays. As part of this role, you be expected to week evenings on a rota basis.
- To deal with a high volume of incoming and outgoing telephone calls to callers internal and external to theBank.
- To maintain the Bank IT systems to ensure all information is kept up to date and used appropriately, this includes maintaining records regarding personnel information relating to the workers on the Bank.
- To process manual and electronic bank requests from wards and departments.
- To liaise with all levels of staff to fill banks shifts.
- Report to the Resourcing Lead any discrepancies with timesheets and invoices for Bank or agency workers, as and when appropriate.
- To monitor patterns of work for individual workers ensuring continuity of employment is monitored and patterns identified to the Assistant Resourcing Lead.
- To liaise with external agencies to ensure requirements for invoice processing are met

Job responsibilitiesA high proportion of the role consists of dealing with a large volume of incoming and outgoing calls alongside using our in house computer systems to assist with troubleshooting therefore excellent customer/multitasking skills are essential.

Person Specification Qualifications- Good Standard of Education 4 GCSEs C grade or above or equivalent
- Experience of working in an administrative role
- Experienced in use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Dealing with "customers" - internal and external to the organisation
- Experience of using electronic systems.
- Flexibility required in working hours to meet the demands of the service and will include some weekend and Bank Holiday working
