Description
We are looking for a motivated and keen individual to join our team as a business administrator apprentice where you will be given hands on experience and a qualification at the end of it.
Training DescriptionBusiness Administrator Level 3.
The apprenticeship is delivered through a blended approach: a mixture of Microsoft Teams and face‑to‑face sessions. All training takes place on site during working hours.
Full DescriptionAs our Business Administrator Apprentice, you’ll support the daily operations of the business, gaining hands‑on experience in areas such as:
- Managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence
- Maintaining organised filing systems for both physical and electronic documents
- Supporting various departments with administrative tasks
- Updating our case management system
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with file opening and closing, maintain electronic records on our case management system, and update client information
- Prepare, scan, copy, and file legal documents (Document Production)
- Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally (Communication)
- Perform reception duties
- Ensure all tasks adhere to data protection, confidentiality, and company policies (Compliance)
- Nationally recognised qualification (Level 3 Business Administrator) which is valuable and can be used as a stepping stone for future career advancement or further qualifications
- On‑job training with experienced mentors

- Industry‑specific knowledge – working in a law firm provides a unique perspective into the legal sector, with an understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and the specific administrative needs of a law practice
- Development of key administrative skills such as managing schedules, handling correspondence and working with legal case management software
- Improved written and verbal communication skills through liaising with clients, colleagues, or external parties
- Knowledge gained from completing job‑specific tasks
- Strong set of transferable skills, such as time management, teamwork, and problem‑solving, which can be beneficial in any career field
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, a permanent position with Davisons Law will be discussed.
