We are seeking a dedicated and organised Partnership Support Officer to join the Wolverhampton Safeguarding Together Partnership. In this role, you will ensure that all aspects of the Partnership are supported and tasks are completed within the expected timescales and to the required standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate and maintain effective administration systems to support the partnership’s objectives.
- Ensure administrative tasks are delivered within expected timescales and to the required standard.
- Respond to enquiries confidently, effectively, and in a timely manner.
- Take responsibility for your own training, development, and culture change within the partnership.
- Assist in formulating administrative policies and practices and advise team members on administrative processes.
- Monitor and develop processes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with service standards and safeguarding legislation.
- Ensure appropriate cover across the Business Support Unit and allocate work accordingly.
- Support the development, implementation, and review of the Strategic Plan and partnership work plans.
- Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met for WST’s One Panel.
- Manage highly sensitive and emotionally demanding data and information.
- Ensure administrative functions support frontline delivery and are fit for purpose.
- Monitor and ensure flexible support for fluctuations in demand.
- Maintain compliance with the Data Protection Act and Information Governance requirements.
- Undertake and reconcile financial transactions adhering to standard procedures.
- Manage systems or tasks specific to the role, such as website management and e-communications.
- Liaise with finance colleagues and the Partnership Manager for budget preparation.
- Ensure effective employee and team communication and engagement.
- Create a positive and supportive working environment.
- Provide effective feedback to encourage and motivate team members.
- Manage your own performance and address issues promptly and constructively.
- Gather information from various sources to make effective decisions and recommendations.
- Prioritise and share tasks with the team to manage workload effectively.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and emotionally demanding information.
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and compliance standards.
- Financial management and budget preparation skills.
- Proficiency in using administrative systems and software.
