Amethyst Academies Trust – Penn Hall School, Wolverhampton. Permanent Position – Attendance Administrator / Family Liaison & Receptionist (Part‑Time Duties). Salary Grade 5 Scale point 12‑16 starting £25,824; 37 hours per week, term time. Start date September 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and track attendance daily, ensuring registers and pupil records are accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the Welfare Manager, staff, and families to identify attendance concerns and support follow‑up actions.
- Build positive relationships with parents/carers and liaise with external agencies where needed to support attendance and welfare.
- Provide reception cover, manage enquiries and visitors professionally, and maintain secure safeguarding procedures.
- Set up reception duties on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2.00pm onwards and all day on Thursdays.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident and sensitive communication with families, staff, and external professionals.
- Calm, professional, and approachable, able to manage competing priorities in a busy school office.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting every child to thrive.
- Experience of attendance administration, school systems, reception work, or family liaison is an advantage.
