Senior Parts Advisor RoleOctane Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Parts Advisor to join a busy franchised dealership in Wolverhampton.
Senior Parts Advisor Responsibilities- Support the Parts Manager with the daily operation of the department
- Assist and support other members of the parts team
- Supply parts efficiently to workshop technicians and retail customers
- Support vehicle health checks and identify required parts
- Process workshop and customer orders accurately
- Ensure orders are processed within required timescales
- Maintain accurate stock levels and locations
- Receive incoming parts and ensure stock is correctly stored
- Process returns and ensure records remain up to date
- Identify and report stock discrepancies
- Respond to telephone and face-to-face customer enquiries
- Liaise closely with workshop, service and aftersales teams
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service
- Help ensure the department operates efficiently during busy periods
- Previous experience within an automotive parts department
- Experience in a Senior Parts Advisor position or an experienced Parts Advisor ready to progress
- Main dealership or manufacturer experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and workshop requirements
- Excellent stock control and organisational skills
- Good practical knowledge of automotive computer systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident dealing with workshop technicians and customers
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Professional and customer-focused approach
The successful Senior Parts Advisor will be an experienced automotive parts professional who can lead by example, support colleagues and maintain high standards across customer service, stock management and workshop parts supply.
