Mastercard Send is part of Mastercard Move, Mastercard’s portfolio of money movement capabilities. Mastercard Send enables fast, secure, and seamless domestic and cross-border person-to-person funds transfers, business and government disbursements, and a number of types of funds transfers.
We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Product Management for a one-year fixed-term contract reporting to the Director of Send Standards Compliance. This role sits within the Mastercard Send Standards & Compliance team, part of the Global Send Product organization.
The team defines, maintains, and enforces money transfer standards for Mastercard Send. This role will play a key part in strengthening compliance controls, improving data quality, and ensuring consistent application of Send standards across the network.
This is a highly collaborative, global role requiring close partnership with regional and global Send teams, as well as Legal, Regulatory, Franchise, and Compliance.
Key responsibilities- Design and implement automated capabilities to detect, monitor, and address non-compliance with Send program standards
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deploy network controls that enforce compliance with Mastercard rules and data standards
- Analyze transaction and customer data to identify compliance gaps, improve data integrity, and drive actionable insights
- Lead the rollout of network controls, ensuring transactions contain required data elements and are properly structured
- Contribute to both short-term enhancements and long-term strategy for Send standards enforcement and control frameworks
- Support broader Mastercard Send product initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Represent Mastercard in customer engagements and industry forums, as needed
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to Send standards and controls
- Promote awareness and adoption of upcoming global Send standards and publications
- Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline Mastercard Send data standards
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytically driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. They demonstrate strong ownership and intellectual curiosity, with a proven ability to translate complex data and business requirements into clear, actionable outcomes.
Required Qualifications- Strong proficiency in SQL or Python, along with advanced Excel techniques, with a demonstrated ability to leverage these tools to support data-driven decision-making
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and risks
- Ability to quickly learn new domains and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Self-starter with strong ownership, accountability, and results orientation
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands efficiently
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to collaborate across global time zones
- Knowledge of Mastercard Single Message System (SMS), Dual Message System (DMS), and associated specifications
- Familiarity with Mastercard Send and/or real-time payments ecosystems
- Experience working effectively in global
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Power BI for data analysis, dashboard development, report creation, and data visualization
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
