Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor

Overview

Join an innovative, rapidly growing training provider as a Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor. The role is fully funded with a TAQA qualification provided by the employer. Once qualified, you will deliver Residential Childcare apprenticeships remotely from home with occasional visits to learners in the workplace.

• At least 3 years’ occupational experience in a Residential Childcare setting
• L3 or above qualification in Residential Childcare
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle essential

• Train, assess, motivate and support Residential Childcare learners on programmes towards achieving Residential Childcare Apprenticeship qualifications
• Maximise the use of e-learning and a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners evidence knowledge in multiple ways
• Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Residential Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation and using approved training methods to develop the learner and support them to achieve their qualification in a timely manner
