Candidate Profile

  • Senior Construction Contracts Manager – Salary Band: £70,000 - £80,000 + Package
Key Requirements
  • Main contractor background – SME preferred
  • Proven track record in public‑sector construction projects
  • Currently operating at senior/head of contracts level
  • Demonstrable experience in framework delivery
  • Strong presence in Wales/West Midlands construction sector preferred
  • Minimum 8 years in construction contract management
  • Must demonstrate projects delivered ahead of programme
  • Strong history of maintaining project margins
  • Experience with public sector frameworks
  • NEC4 and JCT contract expertise
  • Track record of successful supply chain management
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • History of implementing process improvements
Technical Skills
  • Expert understanding of construction contracts
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Advanced understanding of public sector procurement
  • Proficient with construction management software
  • Ability to analyse and improve project performance
Qualifications
  • MCIOB preferred
  • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Full UK driving licence
