The Company
Our client is a leading construction company and one of the fastest growing in the UK, delivering high-quality projects across the social housing and renewable energy (PV/solar) sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Supervisor to oversee works across their West Midlands portfolio.
The Role
As Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of works across social housing and PV installation projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. You will manage site teams and subcontractors, act as the key point of contact on site, and ensure all works comply with health and safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors across social housing and PV installation projects
* Ensuring works are carried out safely, in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures
* Managing day-to-day site activity to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard
* Liaising with clients, residents, and site managers to ensure a smooth delivery of works
* Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
* Ordering materials and managing resources on site
* Completing and maintaining accurate site documentation and reporting
* Travelling to sites across the West Midlands as required
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Supervisor within social housing and/or PV (solar) installation projects
* Valid CSCS card
* Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
* Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements on site
* An electrical background is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritise workload effectively
