A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

The business delivers large commercial and industrial projects across the UK, with individual project values up to £5 million. Due to continued growth and a strong tender pipeline, they are open to Estimators at all levels, from Assistant through to Senior.

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive mechanical tenders, supporting the business in securing profitable work across a range of sectors.

• Preparing mechanical cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Producing take-offs, material pricing, and labour allowances
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identifying risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost savings
• Supporting handover to delivery teams upon project award
• Working closely with Directors, Contracts Managers, and the wider pre-construction team

• Background in Mechanical Building Services Estimating
• Experience pricing commercial and/or industrial projects
• Open to Assistant, Intermediate, or Senior level candidates
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tenders
• Relevant mechanical / building services qualification (preferred but not essential)
