Salary: £76,582 per annum (yearly). Closing date: 26 July 2026.

This full-time, Permanent post is part of the general surgical registrar rota. The successful candidate will work within the Colorectal Surgery team, gaining exposure and training in minimal access (robotic and laparoscopic) colorectal surgery.

• Initial resuscitation and management of all emergency patients presenting to the department
• Initiation of necessary investigations and referral to the relevant on‑call specialist team when indicated
• Ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient management of patients, including endoscopy
• Participation in the general surgical registrar rota

• Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council

• Experience at SpR / ST3 and above in general surgery
• Good range of experience in general surgery
• Experience in colorectal surgery
• Evidence of lower gastrointestinal endoscopy practice
• NHS experience

• Experience of audit

• Evidence of engagement with appraisal and revalidation
