Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at Bushbury School in Wolverhampton. The role involves teaching children with varying SEN needs such as autism and SLCN.

Bushbury School is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in Wolverhampton, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 7-19 with Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN).

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate educator to join our dedicated team at our Bushbury school in WV10 area, Our institution is committed to fostering a nurturing environment that supports pupils with a range of SEN needs with a focus on autism and SLCN. As a pivotal member of our academic community, the successful candidate will play an essential role in delivering an inclusive and supportive curriculum that caters to the individual needs of all students.

• QTS or QTLS Qualification
• Have proven teaching and learning experience
• Have up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
• Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standard.
• Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
• Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
• Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
