Salary – Wolverhampton Grade 2 SCP 2-3 (Term time only – TTF 44.85)

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the school, helping pupils achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Provide high‑quality classroom support, including leading learning activities, supporting individuals and small groups, and contributing to planning, assessment, and delivery of engaging lessons.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and resilience in line with the school’s values (respect, belief, nurture, achievement, inspiration, outstanding behaviour, welcoming community).
• Support pupils with a range of needs, removing barriers to learning and ensuring all children feel safe, confident, and motivated.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to contribute to a caring, inclusive environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience working with children.
• Demonstrated passion for education.

Additional Requirements

• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance is required.
• This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check, including a Children’s Barring List Check.
