What are we looking forSt Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a child with special educational needs within EYFS. The successful candidate will be based at Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy.
Requirements and attributes- Experience of working with children who have a wide variety of educational needs.
- Experience of working with children who exhibit challenging and complex behaviours, and an understanding of child development and learning.
- Experience of working with children with communication needs, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable.
- Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
- Ability to support children with specific educational needs.
- Experience of supporting children in literacy and numeracy.
- Experience of how to motivate children.
- Proven successful experience of supporting the raising of standards in school.
- Wide experience of working with children, including those with special needs and the most able children.
- Experience of supporting the personal care needs of children.
- Proven experience of a range of positive behaviour management strategies.
- The ability to support, lead and inspire children.
- High expectations of children and a commitment to raising standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
