Colmore Education Recruitment is delighted to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Wolverhampton to appoint a passionate and committed Religious Education Teacher for a full-time position.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils of mixed abilities and fostering respectful discussion and critical thinking in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Inspire students to develop an understanding of different beliefs, values, and cultures

* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4 (ECTs are welcome to apply)

* Strong classroom management skills

* Passion for Religious Education and student development

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
