We are seeking a full‑time Light Vehicle Technical Trainer to join our team in Wolverhampton. The role involves delivering technical training programmes, apprenticeship standards, assessing trainee performance, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. You will provide hands‑on, practical training to meet the learning needs of trainees and maintain compliance with industry standards. You will also collaborate with the curriculum improvement team to continuously improve training content and methodologies, ensuring a high quality learning experience.
This is an on‑site position at our Wolverhampton training venue.
- Expertise in Technical Training and Technical Trainer skills to effectively deliver specialised content and programmes
- Strong background in delivering engaging and comprehensive training sessions
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with trainees, adapt instruction methods, and provide clear educational feedback
- Experience in evaluating the effectiveness of training to ensure maximum participant understanding and success
- Proven organisational skills and attention to detail
- IT skills would be advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
- Relevant qualifications in training, coaching, and assessment are advantageous
- Motor vehicle service, repair, and maintenance experience of at least 3‑years and a level 3 qualification are essential.
