We are currently seeking a committed and compassionateSEN Learning Support Assistantto join one of their welcomingprimary schoolsbased inWolverhampton.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners. As anSEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide1:1and/orin-class supportfor students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and reaching their full potential
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider SEND team
- Use initiative and a proactive attitude to support behaviour management and emotional regulation
Candidate Requirements:
- MinimumLevel 2 qualificationin Childcare, Education, Teaching Assistant, or Health and Social Care
- Recent experiencesupporting students with SEND in a primary school or similar setting
- Confident in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
- Ability to workindependentlyand as part of a wider supportive team
- Positive, can-do attitudewith a flexible and nurturing approach
- Hold anenhanced DBS on the Update Service(or be willing to apply for one through Smile Education)
- Able to providetwo professional referencesfrom the past 24 months that include feedback on working with children
